In a nutshell......

Much like a [insert name of an impressionist painter] from a distance, it looks just like a bog standard wharf shed and the closer you get the more this thing morphs into a radar-defying-titanium-clad -Skunk-Works-creation.
The Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS) is the newest building in The University of Tasmania's crown. IMAS was designed by John Wardle Architects [link] in association with Terroir [link] and located on Princes Wharf No.2 in Hobart with work completed in 2014.
Note if they named it The Institute for Marine and Antarctic Contemplation it would be iMAC which I think has a slightly better ring to it.
